Online/Digital Marketing Intern required

Job Description:

An opportunity has now arisen for an Online/Digital Marketing Intern to join the team at Bark , a leading performance based advertising agency. This role would suit a candidate with online marketing knowledge and who wishes to kick start their career in the online world.

This is an exciting internship opportunity within the fast growing advertising agency. The desired student / recent graduate must be organized, enthusiastic, motivated, and be able to work independently with instruction. The position includes editing of material, research for various types of projects and other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Assist implementing and reporting on Online Marketing Campaigns
• Monitoring and reporting traffic
• Research relevant keywords
• Online research for campaign projects & briefs
• Update Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other relevant social platforms
• Adding web content to Content Management Systems

Requirements
• You will have a degree in business or communications or equivalent
• You will be very professional and have excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• You will be highly enthusiastic with a passion for digital marketing!

Additional Information
• The role is full-time and unpaid but some expenses will be covered
• The period is 2-3 months starting immediately. The successful candidate may be offered a permanent position on completion of this Internship
• A high standard of written and spoken English is required

Attention Designers/Developers!

Bark are expanding their design team and are looking to recruit an experienced candidate to work on the design and development of websites and flash banners (including video and expandable).

A strong interest in new ideas and emerging web technologies. You should have a Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Website design or any other directly related experience. A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the field of graphic/web design. Strong visualisation and graphic design skills Good knowledge of interface design principles. Proficiency in using Actionscript for Flash and standard design tools including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.


This particular individual should possess the following technical skillset:

  1. PHP & OO Programming
  2. CSS/CSS3
  3. x/HTML
  4. Javascript/JQuery
  5. CMS/CMF’s eg. Expression Engine, WordPress
  6. Facebook APIs

 

Advantageous Skills:

  • Mobile development – adaptive/responsive design
  • Knowledge of Flash/Actionscript
  • Experience working with DoubleClick Studio


Others:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on a project from start to finish and be able to collaborate on projects within a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Manage a project from conception to completion (management software)
  • Basic Linux administration
